Plas Llwyngwern

Plas Llwyngwern is located on a quiet back lane that runs between the village of Pantperthog and Corris (a few miles north of Machynlleth). The original building is Georgian and built during the mid 1700s; however, the house was extended later with a grand Victorian extension which now forms the main part of the guest house.

The scheme involves three main areas of work; firstly, as a conservation project to repair and retain elements of the existing building; secondly, to replace some elements with those that are more sympathetic to the building itself.

Finally, the client wants to improve the accommodation for both their guests and themselves, this has involved internal alterations to accommodate wedding parties, extras guest rooms with en-suite facilities and improved living quarters for the owners and their family.
